Places

A Place is the setting, the light, and the treatment. It is not the person. A Person is who. A Place is where and how.

A Place with nobody attached is a Shot without a stand-in person. Your pictures of a place set the mood. They are not copied into the Shot as a background plate.

Places in the top bar lists Scenri’s 42 and the ones you save. Keepers is the shortlist. A Place you leave unfinished comes back as a draft.

Open Places and start a new one. You can begin in four ways:

  • Words. Describe the place.
  • Guide me. Answer a few questions. Scenri treats that as a starting direction, not a picture to copy.
  • Pictures. Add one to four pictures of the place. The more they share, the better it reads.
  • A Shot you already made. Scenri reads the place in it and leaves the Product and the people out. If that Shot was made in a Place you already have, you can use that Place instead of reading a new one.

Scenri then writes what later Shots are told about the place. Read that, change it if it is wrong, name the Place, and save.

Drawing a preview of the Place needs image generation, the same way a Person does. Connect image generation.

In Create, type / and choose the Place. Create a Shot.
